Treatex Albino Exterior Oil 2.5L

Treatex Albino Exterior Oil 2.5L is a coloured timber treatment that combines the Albino finish with protection against UV rays, water and weather. Suitable for most timber species, it is ideal for cladding, garden structures, windows and other exterior joinery.

Made with sunflower oil, soybean oil and natural waxes, this penetrating treatment is suitable for new timber projects and renovation work.

Suitable applications

Use on suitable exterior decking, cladding, windows, doors and garden structures. Always test the product on your chosen timber before treating the whole surface.

Coverage

A 2.5-litre tin covers approximately 37m² with one coat, depending on the timber and application method. Allow approximately 18.5m² per tin for two coats.

Rough-sawn timber can use two to three times more product, so allow extra when calculating the quantity required.

Preparation and application

For best results, apply to unfinished timber. Exotic and pressure-treated timber should be allowed to weather for approximately three months before treatment.

Clean or lightly sand existing porous finishes and fully remove flaking or peeling coatings. Follow the manufacturer’s current application instructions and avoid applying the oil too thickly.
