Treatex Belgian Black Exterior Oil 2.5L

Treatex Belgian Black Exterior Oil 2.5L combines the Belgian Black colour finish with protection against UV rays, water and weather. Suitable for most timber species, it is ideal for exterior cladding, decking, windows, doors and garden structures.

Made using sunflower oil, soybean oil and natural waxes, this penetrating treatment can be used for new timber projects and renovation work.

Coverage

A 2.5-litre tin covers approximately 37m² with one coat, depending on the timber and application method. Allow approximately 18.5m² for two coats. Rough-sawn timber can require two to three times more product.

Preparation and application

For best results, apply to unfinished timber. Allow exotic and pressure-treated timber to weather for approximately three months before treatment. Clean or lightly sand existing porous finishes and remove flaking or peeling coatings.

Follow the manufacturer’s current application instructions and avoid applying too thickly.

Colour

This product is supplied in Belgian Black. The final appearance depends on the timber and preparation. Always test a small area first; screen colours are only a guide.
